Without Prejudice is a term meant to emphasize that a communication is strictly confidential. For example, settlement discussions in a mediation or Judicial Dispute Resolution are “without prejudice”, which means what is said in settlement discussions or meetings cannot be held against you for any purpose at some later date (usually at Trial).
