The Minor Injury Regulation is an Alberta law that caps the compensation you can receive for your Claim for general damages for a minor injury. The cap or amount you can receive for general damages for a minor injury is increased and indexed by inflation yearly. The Alberta Minor Injury Regulation applies to sprains, strains, or whiplash disorders to muscles, tendons, or ligaments that do not substantially interfere with your Activities of Daily Living or employment and are expected to substantially improve.
