SEF44 is a rider on your insurance policy. If the Defendant is uninsured, or underinsured, then the SEF44 rider on your own insurance policy may cover you for the remainder of your damages. SEF 44 Insurance is also known as the SEF 44 Family Protection Endorsement.

There are specific limitations in the case law regarding SEF 44 Insurance that are complex. You should consult with me (or your injury lawyer) to determine whether you have access to this type of insurance.
